“Our project in Doha has been a challenge to us for over five years. At the beginning on the client side and later in the execution with the construction company, we were able to contribute to the metro being put into operation on time in a construction period of only six years. We quickly realised that we would be able to achieve this pace only with new technologies. We thus enthusiastically opted for BIM, which was still quite new at the time. This has proved its worth; otherwise, we would not have been able to manage coordination within the international planning team consisting of members from seven countries.
