Uganda Ambassador Visits SSF

Last week Uganda’s ambassador, Mr. Stephen Mubiru, visited SSF’s Munich offices. During a meeting with Helmut Wolf (director), Johannes Frühauf (director of SSF International GmbH) and Wolfgang Frühauf (SSF Ingenieure AG board of supervisors) he learned about the company and current projects.

SSF Ingenieure participates at the construction project of the 272-km-long normal gauge railway from Malaba at the Kenian border to Kampala, Uganda’s capital, and currently supports the developer’s negotiations with the construction company. During phase 2, services for design review and construction supervision are planned.

Moreover, SSF won the tenders for the modernisation of the existing metre gauge railway line on the same section between Kampala and Malaba. Services comprise project management during the tendering process as well as the following construction supervision. Contract signing is still pending.
