"Design and construction of bridges for the rural population in Rwanda"
On December 10th a student team from Aachen, Stuttgart and Kigali received one of the 10 top prizes of the Mondialogo Engineering Award for their project "Bridges in Rwanda". Initiated by UNESCO and Daimler AG this international development assistance award was promoted for the second time. We congratulate to all parties and especially Sandra Timmermann, now part of the SSF team, on this success. We would like to encourage her activities with “Ingenieure ohne Grenzen” (charity organisation delivering engineering development assistance).
