German Construction Technology Day 2017 in Stuttgart

We were there!

1.500 participants brought a new record for the German Construction Technology Day, held on April 27th and 28th at the International Congress Center Stuttgart (ICS).

 

Dialogue was the motto of the leading congress for construction technology in Germany. The new participants record provided best circumstances to extend personal networks and to pursure exchange with them. Moreover, 65 lectures invited to discuss with them their projects, research results and new methods such as BIM. By the new concept for fair trade construction, the DBV created an attractive market place for the 60 exhibitioners at the centre of the German Construction Technology Day. 

 

An entertaining opeing as well was interesting ideas were given by Urs Meier with his pointed show "Between the frontlines - decisions under pressure". The Swiss moderator and ex-referee explained to the audience the parallels between his work as a referee on the football field and their management jobs in companies. The audiences' reactions showed the Urs Meier got some of their daily work live just right and really connected to them. 

 

Dr. Günter Seidl, head of the Research and Development Department at SSF Ingenieure Berlin, together with Martin Hierl of Max Bögl, contributed in the framework of the topic "Changes in Designing" with his lecture of "Bridge structures with directly drivavle deck slab segments - optimisation of construction time and quality".
