Yesterday, SSF’s branch in Halle celebrated its summer party. Together, everyone first visited the largest bridge project of the city of Halle – the new construction of Elisabeth bridge. This bridge leads tramway, cyclist and pedestrian traffic over Saale River. The existing bridge was damaged during the floods of 2013 and has thus to be replaced.
Afterwards, the visit continued to motorway A143. The western bypass of the city of Halle will close the gap in the double motorway bypass around Halle and Leipzig and alleviate through-traffic in Halle. Currently, SSF is producing draft design and tender design for six bridges and final design of two bridges; moreover, we are contracted in a joint venture for construction supervision.
The team in Halle ended the day with a joint dinner.
