Railway line upgrade between Freilassing and Salzburg

With the upgrade to 3 track between Freilassing and Salzburg more passengers can be transported on a separate regional train track which relieves long-distance passenger as well as freight traffic.
The construction for the upgrade of the railway tracks comprises the following projects:
Bridge renewal Reichenhaller Straße:
- reinforced concrete frame structure on strip foundations with haunched superstructure
- length 14.90 m; width 41.43 m
Bridge extension national road B20:
- reinforced concrete frame structure on strip foundations
- length 13.10 m; width 6.30 m
Bridge new construction over Mühlbach river:
- 2-span reinforced concrete frame structure on deep foundation
- length 21.72 m; width 7.60 m
Bridge extension over Saalach river:
- reinforced concrete beams as continuous girders over six spans
- length 131.21 m; width 7.42 m
